Wat Thaworn Wararam is a Mahayana Buddhist Temple considered as the first Vietnamese Buddhist temple in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. It was built in 1834 during the reign of King Rama III. The main Buddha image is originally from Wat Nang Pim traced back to Ayutthaya era and recently renamed by the King Rama X (1970) called Phra Buddha Sathapon Mongkon.
