Wat Neramit Wipatsana in Dan Sai District, Loei Province is situated on a high hill not far from Phra That Si Song Rak. The temple is quite shady due to the shade from trees. It is an important temple of Dan Sai District. Although, its construction did not take too long, this temple is made from the faith and labor of Dan Sai residents.
This temple contains many interesting places such as the ordination hall that is 40 meters in width and 80 meters in length. It is also known as the largest ordination hall in Thailand. The difference of this ordination hall is the laterite wall brought from Lamphun and Prachin Buri Province. It gives a big surprise to visitors. The ordination hall enshrines a replica of Phra Phuttha Chinnarat and contains murals that were painted by Dan Sai artists. The paintings took 8 years to be drawn finely and delicately. As a result, the workpiece is very exquisite and aesthetic. Another venue is Phrakhru Phawana Wisutthiyan Mondop which is also made of laterite. The inside is home to a wax figure of Luang Pho Maha Phan Sila Wisuttho who was the temple founder. There is also the dead body of Luang Pho Maha Phan Sila Wisuttho which has never decomposed and has been kept for disciples and devotees to worship and pay respect for auspiciousness.
