Wat Laem Pho is located near Tinasulanon Bridge, Phase 1, Moo 4, Koh Yo Subdistrict, Muang District, Songkhla. Wat Laem Pho or Wat Phra Non Wat Laem Pho is believed to be built since the early Rattanakosin period by a Phra Kru Thipwasi (Phrom Kaew) from Wat Thai Yo.
As the area of the temple consists of a headland and a number of trees, it is called “Wat Laem Pho” considered to be built more than 200 years ago. In the past, King Rama V traveled to the temple by water.
There are also the largest statue in Thailand and the ancient sculptures registered by the Fine Arts Department as an archeological site.
