Wat Huai Sai Tai is huge and beautiful decorated with colorful lights, located in Cha Am County, about 190 km from Bangkok, between Cha Am and Hua Hin. It is convenient for guests to drive or charter, or take a train to Huai Sai Tai Railway Station and walk 300 meters away.
The statue of the monk at this temple is a magnificent tribute to Luang Phor Thongsuk. It rises about 5 mezzanine floors giving a gigantic appearance. However, despite the monk’s troubled past, the statue displays quite a tranquil appearance to what he might have looked like.
The temple is said to have been built in 1967 on the 32 Rai of the monk’s parent’s land. The ordination hall called Ubosot was built with wood overwater. Fish feeding here has been a popular activity here since the time it was built.
