Prasat Sikhoraphum : Surin, Thailand

Prasat Sikhoraphum, located on the central flatland of Ban Prasat, consists of the large Baray on the east side. The main building includes five pagodas on the raised-floored base with the pond enclosing the three sides. The middle one is the principle pagoda with the secondary pagodas at the four corners.

Prasat Sikhoraphum or Prasat Ra-ngang is a Shivaism-Hindu religious place built with the Khmer-Baphuon and Angkor Wat architecture around the 17th Buddhist century. It, a small castle consisting of brick five pagodas, is located on the same laterite base with a ditch around three sides which the plan of Mount Meru, the center of the world and the universe.
