Nui Beach welcomes with a stretch of powder-soft white sand in front of Nui Bay. Located to the south of Loh Lana Bay on the west coast of Koh Phi Phi Don, Nui Beach is a gorgeous tiny cove, framed by tall karsts. There is some excellent snorkeling on both sides of the Nui Bay, and when the tide is low, you can also explore the secret cave. Nui Beach also promises excellent rock climbing.
From November to May, Phi Phi island boasts crystal clear waters that sparkle in a turquoise-blue shade. Nui Beach snorkeling is an absolute delight during this period and ideal near the cliffs on both sides. Two large rocks are poking out in the sea right in front of the beach, known as the Camel Rocks. Snorkeling around Camel Rocks is exquisite. Also diving is world-class here, offering some exciting swim through with occasional spotting of seahorses and turtles.
In addition to the natural beauty of this paradise beach, many travelers have been leaving their footprint on Nui Beach quite literally. You may find handwritten arts, including traveler names and travel mottos, on many stones and pieces of coral washed out on the beach. The locals have arranged these holiday memories to form a beautiful mosaic memorial. Nui Beach is a magical place to behold indeed.
The easiest way to reach Nui Beach is to take a longtail boat from Loh Dalum Beach in the heart of the main Koh Phi Phi Don island. It will take only five minutes or so by sea. You can also choose to paddle across Loh Dalum Bay in a kayak towards Nui Beach, which will take about 30 minutes. Most of the private boat tours from Phuket or Krabi always include Nui Beach in the itinerary.
