“Huay Kaew Waterfall” is assumed that the water in this area may be crystal clear. Therefore, it is called “Huay Kaew Waterfall”. The origin of Huay Kaew Waterfall is from water source in the forest on Doi Suthep Mountain near Ban Khun Chang Khien, flowing down the hills through Mon Tha Tharn Waterfall and Huay Kaew Waterfall until reaching Huay Kaew Village, then finally flowing into the water from the irrigation canals.
