Mount Yong Yap (Malay “Gunung Yong Yap”) is located near Perak and it is the 6th highest point in Peninsula Malaysia, at 2168 m.
Situated in the Titiwangsa Range and the trail is rough, characterized by thorny trees, fallen trunks, sharp bamboo edges and just about everything else that can make your hike challenging enough!
Yong Yap is a symmetrical mountain and is pyramid shaped. It has a sharp and pointed peak and many hikers consider this as one of the toughest trails in Malaysia.
