Buriram is one of the northeastern provinces of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are Sa Kaeo, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham and Surin. To the southeast it borders Oddar Meancheay of Cambodia. The name Buriram means city of happiness.
