Mae Sawan Noi Waterfall is located in the Mae Yuam Forest Reserve. It on the right side of the road 108 if you approach Mae Sariang from Hot. It is about 20 km before you reach Mae Sariang. Signs along the road indicate how you get to the waterfall.
The waterfall is set in lush green forest and has nine steps. Forestry Department officials have constructed steps and trails in order to get from step to step. Especially in the rainy season the Mae Sawan Noi Waterfall is quite spectacular and pretty.
This delightful little waterfall is in the form of a series of cascades or tiers, and is worth the effort of the detour down an ever-narrowing road which winds some 6 kms through Karen villages and farm land. The last 100 metres – where the concrete road ends – is best done on foot. Its quite steep and if its damp, could prove a little slippery for the average car.
