Koh Lao Liang : Trang, Thailand

Koh Lao Liang is located in Tambon Koh Sukon, is part of the Muko Phetra National Park and features surrounding high-rising cliffs where rock climbing is offered, white sandy beaches, and clear sea. There are also beautiful coral reefs that provide home to clown fish and other beautiful fish, as well as rich and rare sea fans of various colours ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.

There are two islands standing side by side; namely, Koh Lao Liang Nong (to the North) and Koh Lao Liang Phi (to the South). Tents and food shops are available on Ko Lao Liang Nong whereas it is not permitted to stay overnight on Koh Lao Liang Phi, as it is a bird’s nest concession area. Koh Lao Liang is closed for tourism during May – October of every year to allow the nature to restore itself and will be open again around November.
