Khun Chang Kian is a hill tribe village on Doi Pui mountain, around 28 km from Chiang Mai’s old city, Thailand. A narrow, but very scenic road through a dense evergreen forest leads to this place.
The villagers make a living from small coffee plantations, fruit orchards and vegetable fields. It is a quiet and peaceful place, for most days of the year.
The main attraction is the annual Sakura (cherry) blossom. Depending on the weather, the cherry blossom happens between early December and the end of January.
