Wat Pa Phu Kon located high in the mountains in Na Yung District, approximately 120 kilometers Northwest of Udonthani city.

The temple was built only a couple of years ago but has a lot to offer those willing and able to make the steep drive to visit it.

The main attraction, besides the beautiful and serene natural surroundings, is the 20-meter long reclining Buddha, which is made from 43 blocks of exquisite Italian Carrara Marble, each weighing about 15-30 tons and which was shipped to Thailand by boat.
