The Tappiya Waterfalls are a hidden treasure in the Ifugao province in Philippines.

At 700 m a.s.l fed by the tropical forests in high altitude, and reached only on foot passing from the 2000 year old Rice Terraces in Batad Village are a wonderful sight for the adventurous tourists.

The hike to Tappiya Falls doesn’t require a guide but if you are not too familiar with Batad then you are best to secure one from the Information area. Hiking during rainy days isn’t really advisable as part of the trail leading to the waterfalls is prone to massive landslide.
